Romeo, the one and only, the love of my life
One not blind could see that with utmost clarity
Meaningful, dedicated, passionate and whole
Everlasting love, a love meant to be
Overly into each other, it hurt to be apart

All parties must come to an end as did our play
Not what we originally thought
Death, I mean really, who would of thought?

Juliet and her Romeo together in a different arena
Understand, such love stays true in both life and death
Lie together, the two of us, separate from the earth
In the end still together
Endlessly and forever
Together and in love

This was not my challenge so I really had to think on this, I think it is seriously inadequate compared to Sandys who presented this challenge, but its what I came up with. Feel free to be honest with your opinions.

So, we have been seeing this “missing dog” sign for “Simon” for a few weeks now. He is a little brown pincher the picture shows him in a tie and he is really cute . Anyway, we went to a wake just a bit ago and though I have felt bad for the people missing the dog for weeks now this was not what was on my mind at the time. So my son decides that he wants to do one of these surveys and we get to the question “what is your favorite breed of dog?” so I am naming off all these types of dogs and he says “What kind of dog is Simon?” and I look at him, I’m sure like he’s having a senior moment and I say “Xayne, Simon is a chipmunk”. Goes to show how many times we have seen Alvin and the Chipmunks because he was talking about Simon the missing dog……he says “I’m talking about the missing dog you freak” (jokingly)

survivor of a plane crash
one of many yet so few
detoured by the unexpected error
my vehicle unfixable
I am a prisoner here
among the earthlings
we look alike, we talk alike
similiar in so many ways
yet why are we so different?
unhappy, unacknowledged
longing and yearning for home
I just want to go home to
the safety net awaiting
to that person who plans to portray
a love that I have never seen before
to a place where I don’t constantly
have to explain myself
to a place where I feel like
a beautiful princess and all the
previously abused boys feel like
handsome happy princes to a place
where there is no judgement, but
right now those are just dreams
my term here isn’t finished
I don’t even know why I have
been given this sentence
I beg to know what I did
I feel naive for being confused
as to what my exact mission is
I don’t believe in coincidences so
the question begs, what is it
I seek to accomplish here?
Confused on a daily basis due to
knowing a lack of my kind
who do I see for guidance?
Isolated due to the emptiness
longing for understanding
where are you, I need you
calling all survivors
caged by life this is our every day
but together we hold the key
let’s unlock the door thats
been closed for so long
to happiness and joy

It is 5 minutes until 4 am so if this totaly sucks I apologize. I plan on looking at it again tomorrow and I will make any changes I see fit. Until then let me know what you think. I have had conversations along the lines of this piece with several people so I know at least they will know what I am talking about.
