Happy Friday!

So my Robert, oh how I love him. This morning we were both starving so we went to this McDonald’s down the street from work. For those that don’t know we work together doing web-marketing in Beverly Hills. Anyway, there was this young man in front of us, I’d say he was around our age, 28-30. All I could see of him was that he had really nice hair, it was shoulder length and dark. He had what I call ‘pantene hair’ just for imagination purposes. I tend to be attracted to dark haired men, especially with long hair. Try as I might I just couldn’t get at an angle to where I could see him from a front view. He was very attractive from a side view. Robert and I chuckled at that, we both know how many times we’ve thought someone was attractive from a side view just to be scrared shitless when they turn around to face you. Well as you might have guessed none of us planned on staying there all day so after we got our food we left. It just so happened cutie from the side was parked next to us. As great as that sounds it actually sucked because I only got a side view that I now recognize. So we eat our food, Robert asks me if I got to see him from the front, I say no. We both look over at cutie pies car and he is outside of his car and appears to be digging for change, been there done that, we chuckle again. Robert pulls out his wallet and says “why don’t you see if your cutie pie needs a dollar”, now I am shocked, he NEVER suggests that we give strangers money. My expression clearly shows what I am thinking, he says “What? Don’t you want to see what he looks like?”. After all this, yes I did so I swung open my door and I said, “Hey, you need a dollar or something?” and he turned around and, OMG, wow, mmmm, he was super, super good looking. He had the long dark hair as I described, he had beautiful cheekbones and hot perfect lips, he was a beautiful man. Robert is confident with himself but he is not a man to say another man is “good looking” so I was surprised that he said “I have to admit he is a beautiful man”. Robert got out of the car to throw the trash away and when he got back in he said his girlfriend was beautiful too. They had out of state plates so we toyed with the fact that they could have been brother and sister.

It was a fun morning and it goes back to my whole “I Do” Now Please Poke My Eyes Out article , just because you’re in a committed relationship it does not mean that either one of you now longer finds other people attractive. You should be able to voice that and not have to worry about getting slapped or breaking up, it’s crazy to me. Robert finds other women attractive and I find other men attractive, people are like art, some portraits are more beautiful than others and they should all be acknowledged. If you’re one of those women that say “if you find another woman attractive then that means you don’t find me attractive”, you need mental help.
