Hahahaha…..omg!!! That is why you felt I never said much at work; because I, much as yourself, do not try to sugar coat the truth and/or my observations; if you ask for my opinion, I say it as I see it….which is liable to get me into trouble.

Let me tell you something, the first day I saw Larry aka Midget A– (what the heck, ASS), when he came in briefly, just before Thanksgiving, to address everyone, I knew instantly that we were all going to be in BIG trouble. You would have thought he was running for the President of the United States with his presentation.That is why I kept chuckling during his speech, and Adrian kept looking at me; as if to say, boyyyy, you sure are losing it!

Larry’s wife and daughter dropped by the office to have lunch with him just before the New Year break. After getting over my surprise that someone actually married him, I wondered if he acted the same way at home as he did at work. Although, they both appeared to be of the same height; so, she’s in charge; isn’t that usually the case? Take it from me, I seriously doubt that he would last at this company and continue to get along with the New York big wigs with his I am all that attitude; especially if his ideas ever clashes with that of James’. Oh BTW, his title is VP/COO (Lauren was just GC). Where is Dr. Phil when you need him?!!

Please, don’t get me started with Kiss Ass. From the first day I met her, even though she tried to act all warm and friendly, there was something about her that can across as so fake. She would appear nice one minute and the next minute acting as a grade A B-I-T-C-H!!! She could never make up her mind if she wanted to be a bad ass or a goody two shoes. I came to realize that she only acted nice when she had ulterior motives; I have zero tolerance for such stupidity, and refuse to hide my feelings about that. She actually told Scott once that she uses the “Stroke” and “Strike” method in dealing with people; in other words, alternately praising and criticizing people as she sees fit. My biggest pet peeve with her is her attitude that we paralegals should be given the same amount of work as the attorneys, and/or put in the long hours that she sometimes does; even though, some of us may only be paid one third of what she is earning. To that end, she was constantly either trying to get me to come in on Saturdays and/or push some of her work on us paralegals. One reason that she always appeared to be overwhelmed with her work is because, in her desire to be desperately liked, she convinces the powers that be that she is capable (bragged about being able to take on MA claims in addition to CA before she was actually ready; also main reason she is so highly paid) of handling more than she can in actuality; she also was to take the TX BAR exam in the summer of 2006 in order to handle those claims as well. That never materialized. You should have seen her during that period; acted more zanier (if that’s possible) than usual. When it becomes clear that she has bitten off more than she can chew, she starts to stress the rest of us out and act like we do not have enough to do; hey, don’t blame the rest of us if you cannot effectively manage your work. Another problem with her is her incessant talking!! Especially, when she is giving you a task to do; she wastes so much time just yakking and yakking about anything and everything; jumping from one subject to another, even when she is aware that there is so much to be done. I learned earlier on to let her know I am too busy to listen to her never ending and irrelevant chatter through my body language. As you can tell, she has never earned my respect. My advise to her, would be to quit the smoking; not only would it improve her appearance (takes more than lightening her hair; blond does not become her), it may also just prolong her life. Regarding her husband, she is always trying to make it seem to everyone that her husband is so totally and hopelessly in love with her, that he cannot see straight sometimes:) I was never completely convinced about that. Her apparent neediness may have also contributed to his inclination to frequently imbibe.

I briefly checked out your website (I have not had a moment to myself since before the holidays), and the new layout looks very impressive. Hopefully, I should have more time to really check it out after my folks leave on the 14th. Phew!!!
So far, I have only been able to peruse the “postings”; especially liked the “Motherly Antics” (check out my response), “Midget Mind”, “Surprised”, “Little Man Complex”, “Light On, No One Home”, for the obvious reasons:) .

Your brand of humor, tickles me to death; even if it were ever directed at me; I have rhino skin:) .
