she keeps herself open enough for you to see
but closed enough so she can see you
she gives more than what she wants in return
but one day you will learn
how this is all much like her dream
where it’s the same room
the same music
the same people
the same sentiments
when she was sitting
all alone in her chair
watching
listening
feeling
this dream
what relief she felt
because she knows and
because you want
more than you understand
and you want to let go
but you can’t
and you won’t
because it feels too good
she feels too good
she’s heaven sent
