Jennifer Morgan - SC Murder
Hi, Everyone.
I just watched a segment of Dateline regarding the unsolved murder of a South Carolina woman, Jennifer Morgan.
Please google her story, I would love to hear your opinions whether or not we agree.
Below is my comment sent to Dateline.

There is a major disagreement in our household…I completely agree with Moag (except I do wonder why he did not follow up on Tom’s alibi), my husband is convinced the neighbor did it and I might note that his only basis is that he is in prison for a similar crime, whooped dee doo….short of a flashing neon light in the sky, I don’t see how it could be any more obvious that Tom killed Jennifer (I believe accidentally). I am well aware that there is no physical evidence, however I believe that his behavior and the things I saw and heard come out of his own mouth are damaging to his innocence. I can see how one could think that Chris killed her (did anyone verify there were “10” phone calls to the house from Chris? Can anyone other than the family members verify that Chris seemed like a “stalker”) and I can see how one could think that the neighbor killed her, I can certainly see how one could think that Pat is setting Tom up but this is why “I” believe Tom is guilty……before I start I want to note that I know that we all have different opinions and deal with things differently….as crazy and sick as it sounds, I do believe that Tom and Jennifer were having an incestuous relationship, I believe this because of the fact that Tom said that he wanted to make her “pure”, why in his mind was she impure? I know he said it was because he didn’t want it to look like she was dating two guys and a slut but, even if she were dating two men, so what, this does not make her impure….incest does…..Why was this not asked about when he said it? How many times was it mentioned what a “close knit” family they were? (and its obvious from videos that they are) One would think even if you were not a close knit family that your father would call and say “your sister is dead, get home as soon as you can” not “your sister is dead, DO NOT come home until tomorrow” Why on earth would he say that other than to provide more time for Tom to “not” be in the area? Why was neither Tom nor the father asked to explain this? If I were as close to my sister as his parents claimed he was to his, and even if I were not, I would have came home IMMEDIATELY…another point, can anyone honestly say to me if your sister was murdered and you were asked what you would like to see happen to the killer once caught you would calmly say “well, whatever the court decides”, hell no, what this says to me is “when they catch me, I will have to deal with whatever punishment I get”, if someone murdered my sister I would say that I would want them punished to the fullest extent of the law. Why did he fail the lie detector test? Why did he look down BOTH times he was asked if he killed her? It is a well known fact this is an indication of a liar. Why when he was asked “if” he killed her he simply stated that he did not? If someone accused me of killing my sister, or anyone for that matter, and I had not, I would be outraged, he did not even say anything like “that is crazy!”, “Did I kill my sister? Are you insane?” he simply and calmly stated “no, I did not”. Why did he lie about his living situation? He also stated out of his own mouth that he was seeing a married woman and doing other things he was not proud of…..like what? Why was this not asked? I think this is a sick as the rest of you but I believe without a doubt in my mind that they were so close they did indeed form an incestuous relationship; I believe that he was very jealous of her relationships with other men. I believe that they agreed to meet at her house for whatever reason (thus her being home when she never was at that time), there was an altercation and he accidentally killed her. I believe that he was devastated and did not know what to do…..he went to his parents, they could not stand the fact that they had not only lost their daughter but if they did not cover this up they would lose their son also. I find it suspicious that a line in the screenplay he wrote read “You live your whole life and everything is great, then one day you make ONE mistake and your life is screwed” (something close to that, it’s 5 a.m.). Why would he write himself in as the “jealous one” instead of Chris? I believe he was so involved because he wanted to take the focus off of himself. We all heard the mother say “I would go to the end of the earth to protect my son”, in my opinion, even in this instance. Why did the parents not seem the least bit sad in talking about it, my husbands argument is that it was 13 years ago, does that matter? I did not see one tear in either of the parents’ eyes; I just think this is a little odd. I also think his comment about trying to “look for the good” in the killer was referring to himself. Lastly, I don’t believe for a second that Boone is as concerned as he claims, could he of seemed more disinterested? What about the “missing file”, how, when and why did it suddenly reappear? I’m sure there is more but I’m getting tired. I did want to mention for the people who “have known this family for ___ years” and will not or cannot believe this could be true…..I work in a law office, we had a client who allegedly molested his daughter, the letters came pouring in on his behalf, they were such wonderful letters, had I of not known he admitted it to the attorney, I would of thought he was a saint. We do not tell our deepest secrets, especially secrets such as this. I apologize to the ones that think I’m insane, we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
