According To Him
According to him, I am distant and cold
Extremely independant and emotionless
He doesn’t know I’d love to be close and warm
Still independant but with emotions in tact
I’m the sorriest one of all that that is not my life
How does one who has never been shown love, show love?
How does one whose never shared emotions, show emotion?
According to him I am far too negative
But does he confuse my realism for negativity?
What is wrong with accepting things for what you know they will be
Rather than waiting around for a “could be”?
According to him, I’ll forever be alone
He doesn’t realize, this isn’t some new punishment
It’s what I’ve always known
