It’s October 30th, the day before Halloween, almost 6 p.m.

I’m sure it doesn’t surprise you at all that we’ve waited until the last minute to get your costume. We’ll be going in just a bit. I just know that whatever we get you will look terrific. You’ve changed your mind several times, but I think you’ve finally settled on Batman. I chuckle because I know we’re not at the store yet.

Daddy and I were so proud of you on Friday, Student of the Month! Did you see me beaming with pride from the audience I’m going to hang your award up just as soon as I get a frame. That line makes me think of Dr. Phil, he would say don’t try, do, so I’ll get a frame.

Although I tell you all the time how proud of you I am, I just can’t express it to the depth that I actually feel, it brings me to tears.

Thank you for being such a wonderful boy. You are sweet, considerate, and helpful. I am extremely proud to be your mother.
