I opened my eyes and there you stood
about 5 foot 3 plus four inch wood
cute as cute could be for my eyes could see
I was hoping you would be the one to sit with me
I took a chance what do you want me to say
I gave you my email with very little delay
you wrote me back and said you would be happy to hang
then I realized you were the reason why my heart sang
so wile we work we always laugh and flirt
hoping for true love so we won’t have to hurt
no doubt is what you always say left to interpret it in our own way
it gives me fear when its not all play but in the end I know I’ll stay
your my dream I see it in your eyes
when I hold you close all the angels sigh
its all in jealousy for what they see
is that you mean more then life to me
I can’t explain why this happens so quick
if I could I would hold it back with a stick
but that’s just a lie I welcome this love
with open arms just like God would from above
I can see you are scared and troubled with fear
but what’s the point to hold back I will be your teddy bear
you will always find a warmth and comfort in my arms
and will keep you guarded from anything that try’s to harm
so basically this is my promise to you
I will stand up and support everything you do
I will take your hand and walk by your side
there won’t be anything you will need to hide
we will build bonds of unending trust
