It seemed if he said he was coming he never came,
If he messed up we were to blame.
It seemed words were always softly spoken,
Then promises blindly broken.
It seemed in front of others he was great,
But behind closed doors he was full of hate.
It seemed he was cheerful and fun,
So why did we hardly see the sun?
It seemed we were all redeemed,
But I guess, that’s only how it seemed.
